Timisoara Border Police Territorial Inspectorate

Timisoara Border Police Territorial Inspectorate is the regional structure, subordinated to the General Inspectorate of Border Police, which is responsible for the border surveillance and border crossing check at the border with: - the Republic of Bulgaria within a length of 28 km; - the Republic of Serbia within a length of 546.4 km; - the Republic of Hungary within a length of 50 km; Timisoara Border Police Territorial Inspectorate is led by a chief inspector, assisted by two deputies and it is organized at internal level, on units, offices and compartments specialized on activity domains, with the main role of preventing and countering illegal migration and other cross-border crimes.
